The girls tennis team was defeated for the first time this season by the Walter Johnson Wildcats 4-3 on Sept. 13, lowering its record to 3-1.
The Wildcats had two new players who helped them win the match, singles player Nicole Welch said.
All four Viking singles players lost their matches, while all of the doubles players won.
“We need to make our mental game a lot stronger,” Welch said.
The Vikes look to bounce back when they face the Damascus Hornets Sept. 15 at home.
