Reality TV is spreading to Bethesda in a new form: fast food.
The Burger Joint on Fairmont Ave. created a full packed burger and mini slider inspired by Jersey Shore star Snooki and her new baby boy, Lorenzo.
The Snooki Burger contains a fist pump of ingredients to capture the Jersey Shore and Snooki’s wild adventures on the show. It has a beef patty with a thick slice of Philadelphia cream cheese, fresh-grilled jalapeño peppers and BGR’s signature mojo sauce.
“It combines a little cheesy with a little spicy, just like the Jersey Shore,” said Mark Bucher, owner of the Burger Joint.

Bucher created this burger two years ago when Snooki first became wildly popular. But, using celebrities as inspiration is nothing new or out of the ordinary for Bucher. He is also known to create special burgers inspired by Charlie Sheen, president Obama and Sarah Palin.
The Snooki Burger is only on sale during September, but Bucher already planned his next creation. For his next project, Bucher is in the process of creating Romney and Obama burgers for the November election.
Celebrity burgers are tremendously popular and have attracted many new customers, Bucher said. His creations have also gotten media attention from notorious blogger and gossip columnist, Perez Hilton.
“It makes my job a lot more enjoyable coming up with these new crazy burgers,” Bucher said. “It makes people laugh.”
