The NHL is locked out…again. After strikes in 1994 and 2004, the league is once again in a standoff that threatens to shorten or completely eliminate the regular season. Starting rookie quarterbacks in the NFL are rarely good, and neither are Washington Redskins quarterbacks — usually. It’s even more unusual to rack playoff-worthy numbers in debut games, but that’s exactly what Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III did in his first game Sept. 9.
For as long as he can remember, Jeremy Rich (’85) has been interested in science. Now, his passion has paid off.
