The tennis team found success at the state championship Friday May 28. The girls doubles players, Sarah Macy and Nicky Gottret, got 1st place, while the boys doubles players, Pablo Gottret and Aaron Hoffman, got 2nd. Macy and Gottret entered the tournament as the first seed, and defeated the Walter Johnson Wildcats 6-4, 6-4 to earn their state title. (continue reading…)

The track and field team competed in the state finals Friday, May 28. Senior standout Andrew Palmer placed first in the 3200 meter run, giving him his final state championship of his high school career. Sophomore Anna Ryba placed 6th in the 3200 meter run as well, helping the girls team to place 24th overall. The boys team finished 21st.
