Foo Fighters return to roots in newest album
Even though the Foo Fighters’ latest CD,“Wasting Light” isn’t officially released until April 12, the band has been streaming the album for free on their website since last week. The album marks a return to singer/guitarist Dave Grohl’s roots -- heavy rock songs with a pop touch.

Joan of Arc’s new album is focused, creative, ‘Life Like’
It’s been exactly one month since indie-rock band Joan Of Arc released their experimental concept album, “Oh Brother.” Leaving hardly any time for those tracks to sink in, their latest album, “Life Like,” will come out on May 10. However, “Life Like” is a more focused, listener-friendly album, with shorter songs that make the whole album more interesting.

Joan of Arc releases bold new album
One of the most prolific indie rock bands of the decade, Joan Of Arc, released the most ambitious album of it’s career. The band’s latest release, “Oh Brother,” is a combination of four unfinished albums featuring four different ensembles and 14 musicians. The limited, vinyl-only release has just four songs, but each is about 20 minutes long.

OFF! turns it on
