“Death at a Funeral,” so ridiculous that it’s funny
Despite the ominous title, “Death at a Funeral” is one of the funniest movies of the year. The dark comedy, which isn’t so much dark as it is hilarious, is an adaptation of the 2007 British movie of the same name. The three-year span between the original and the remake makes it one of the fastest remakes in history.
Two juniors earn $3,200 during recent snow storm

As the temperatures rise and the snow melts, juniors Ted Knox and Nico Zaveleta sit back and count their money. For most Whitman students, Snowmaggedon meant an extra 10 days of sleep, movies and mindless television. But for juniors Zaveleta and Knox, it meant making $3,200.
Sarah Houston wins Posse scholarship, full-ride to college
Senior Sarah Houston will attend Pepperdine University next year on the prestigious Posse scholarship, which offers full-rides to groups of 10 students from Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York and D.C, who all attend the same college as a “posse.”

Walking into the chorus room on Monday afternoon was almost like walking right onto the set of “Glee.” Cornell University Glee Club, an all-male singing group stopped by school this Monday as part of a 12-day northeastern tour.
